Ted Lasso is returning for its highly-anticipated third and potentially final season next week, with 12 new episodes that will take us up to the end of May.
When you've got so much interest in a show like this, there are people who want to leak spoilers online and ruin the surprise for everyone, and the people behind the shows have started to do things to avoid that happening.
One of those tactics is to film two different endings and if the fake version leaks, the actual climax remains secret.

Speaking to co-creator, executive producer and Coach Beard actor Brendan Hunt, Deadline asked if Ted Lasso had employed the trick of filming multiple endings, but it turns out that the show had elected not to.
"No, no, we just did the one and hoped and trusted that our lovely crew would keep their mouths shut. We're all family, we all take care of it."
Jason Sudeikis recently hinted that this will be the last season, and wants fans to come to terms with that.
"This is the end of this story that we wanted to tell, that we were hoping to tell, that we loved to tell," he said. "The fact that folks will want more and are curious beyond more than what they don't even know yet – that being season 3 – it's flattering.

"Maybe by May 31, once all 12 episodes of the season [have been released], they're like, 'Man, you know what, we get it, we're fine. We don't need anymore, we got it'.
"But until that time comes, I will appreciate the curiosity beyond what we've come up with so far."
Ted Lasso season 3 premieres on Wednesday, March 15, streaming on Apple TV+.
