Teen arrested for allegedly breaking into Sea Bowl in Pacifica

(KRON) — A 17-year-old boy was arrested on Wednesday after allegedly breaking into a former bowling alley in Pacifica, according to the Pacifica Police Department. Officers responded to the Sea Bowl on 4625 Coast Highway on a report of an unknown person attempting to break into the business, which closed after 60 years last March.

Officers arrived at the business and determined that the suspect was no longer on the scene. According to police, information was obtained that led them to believe the suspect had fled to the nearby Pacifica Brewery, which was closed at the time.

Officers set up a perimeter around the brewery. The suspect was subsequently located as he attempted to leave the area. He was identified as a 17-year-old boy from Pacifica.

Officers found items from inside the business on the suspect’s person. He was arrested and taken to the Pacifica Police Department on charges that included:

  • Burglary

  • Possession of Burglary Tools

  • Prowling

  • Minor in Possession of Alcohol

Police declined to release any more information about the suspect, due to their age.
