A 16-year-old bicyclist who was struck by a hit and run vehicle in Queens Friday has died, and authorities are searching for the driver who fled the scene.
- Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver who killed a 16-year-old bicyclist in Queens. The [? student ?] was struck hit-and-run driver and has passed away. Darwin Durazno was biking on College Point Boulevard Friday night when a Toyota Camry crossed the double yellow lines and crashed head on into him. Police say the driver did not stop and the car was found abandoned several blocks away. Paramedics took Durazno to Jacobi Hospital Center in the Bronx where he died three days later from his injuries. So far no arrest in the case.
