Teen held for life for zombie-knife murder of boy, 16

A teenager who stabbed another boy to death with a zombie knife at a 16th birthday party has been detained for life.

The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, fatally stabbed Mikey Roynon during an argument at a house party in Bath, Somerset, on 10 June 2023.

The youth was convicted for murder while his two friends were convicted for manslaughter after being acquitted for the more serious charge.

The other two teens received sentences of nine years and nine years and six months.
