Teen injured in morning crash on Ohio 16

COSHOCTON — A bicyclist was injured by a motor vehicle shortly before 8 a.m. Friday on Ohio 16, near the intersection of Ohio 83 South.

Authorities said Kaleb Brock, 19, of Coshocton, was traveling east in the westbound lane on a bicycle when he was struck by a 2014 Nissan heading west. It was driven by Gabriel Howard, 21, of Coshocton.

Brock was ejected from the bicycle. He was not wearing a helmet and traveling on the wrong side of the road, deputies stated. Brock was transported to Genesis Hospital in Zanesville for treatment of unknown injuries. His condition was not known Friday afternoon.

Assisting on scene were Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services, Jackson Township Fire Department, REACT and Prince's Wrecker Service.
