- It happened around 9:30 last night on Tremont Road. Investigators say the driver, 18-year-old Ayush Shrestha, was speeding when he tried to turn and lost control of the car. The driver and another passenger were thrown from the car. The driver died at the scene. Three passengers had to be taken to the hospital with major injuries. Davis Joint Unified School District says three of the teens, including the driver, were Davis High students.
