Teen killed in car accident in southeastern Carroll County

The teenage driver of this Honda Accord lost control on Carroll County Road 200 East. The car left the road, rolled into a cornfield. The driver was killed. Her passenger is in serious condition.

Danielle Siebert died after she lost control of the Honda Accord she was driving about 4:40 p.m. Thursday, according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.

Siebert, 15, of Bringhurst, and her passenger, Jackson Crow, 16, of rural Delphi, were ejected from the southbound car after it left the east side of Carroll County Road 200 East, according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.

The car entered a ditch, rolled and came to rest in a cornfield between Carroll County Roads 300 South and 400 South, according to the investigation.

Siebert and Crow were found near the car in the cornfield.

Siebert was pronounced dead at the scene.

Crow was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital with serious injuries,
