'Teen Mom' Star Jenelle Evans Hospitalized Amid Custody Battle

Embattled "Teen Mom" star Jenelle Evans was hospitalized on Tuesday after suffering from a lupus flare-up.

Evans told E! News that she is "dealing with a lupus flare-up and pyelonephritis."

She added, "I also have a large cyst on my left ovary the surgeons are coming down to evaluate if they need to remove or not. They have started an IV of Levaquin and have me in morphine and Zofran."

E! also reported that a source told them that Evans has been "quietly dealing" with the lupus diagnosis and added that the "extreme stress she has been under with the fight to get the kids back has led to a massive [flare] up of her symptoms."

The source added, "Things have been so intensely stressful for her that it's made her sick to the point that she had to be rushed to the hospital."

As The Blast previously reported, with Evans' recent issues involving her husband, her dog and her kids, her chances of being cast in another reality show are extremely grim.

Many say while Evans life is full of drama — which often makes for great television — the legal risks, and chances of being found liable for her or her husband David Eason’s actions, are high.

Not only is Evans is in need of a paycheck after being dropped by MTV and fired from "Teen Mom" following 9 seasons on the show, but the loss of her platform causes her endorsement and social media deals to dry up as well.

Sources tell us the fact Evans has decided to stay with her husband — and temporarily lost custody of her kids — were the final nails in the coffin. One source tells us, “Nobody has an interest in working with her. There are so many other people worth the time and investment.”
