Teenage boy, 14, charged with 13 sex attacks on women across south London
A teenage boy aged 14 has been charged with 13 linked sex attacks on women in Penge and Beckenham in south London.
Police investigated the assaults, which took place in the street outside Poundland and Lidl and near rail stations and pubs, between February 9 and March 4 of this year.
On each occasion, a lone male approached the women before sexually assaulting them and fleeing.
The boy will appear before Bromley Magistrates’ Court on September 10.
A Met Police spokeswoman said: "A teenage boy has been charged in connection with a number of sexual assaults in the Penge area.
"A 14-year-old boy was charged with 13 counts of sexual assault on Tuesday.
"He will next appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on September 10."
