Teenage boy shot in Milwaukee; adult and 10-year-old taken into custody

A teenage boy was shot on the city's northwest side, Milwaukee police say, while an adult and child were taken into custody in connection to the incident.

The victim, a 13-year-old, was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. Police say the shooting occurred Thursday shortly after 5 p.m. in the 4900 block of North 84th Street.

A 32-year-old man and a 10-year-old boy were taken into custody and charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
