Teenager dies after crash Monday in Randallstown

A teenager died at a hospital Monday after crashing into a tree in the Randallstown area, according to Baltimore County police. County police said a 17-year-old boy was driving a 2007 Acura MDX when he struck a tree around 9:50 p.m. at Liberty and Old Court roads. Police said the teen was driving west on Liberty Road when another vehicle turned onto the roadway from Old Court Road. Police said the teen swerved to avoid a collision but lost control and struck a curb and a tree. The teenager was taken to a hospital, where he died. His name was not immediately released.
