Teens Interested In Going Behind-The-Scenes At Denver Police Department Encouraged To Apply For Volunteer Program

The Denver Police Department is recruiting teenagers for duty this summer. Applications are now being accepted for the Denver Police Teen Volunteer Program.

- We continue covering Colorado First at 5 for you. The Denver Police Department is recruiting teenagers for duty this summer. Applications now being accepted for the Denver Police Teen Volunteer Program. Teenagers can take part in police training, disaster trainings, and help with cleanup of parks and graffiti just a few hours this summer.

MARIE DABIS: Have the time the summer to give 20 hours of volunteer time, and that's 20 hours over the entire summer working around their schedule and working alongside police officers to better the city of Denver.

- High school students between the ages of 16 to 19 are open to apply.
