Tejon Ranch breaks ground on new fully automated Nestle distribution center

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Tejon Ranch has begun construction on a massive fully automated Nestle Distribution center.

The multi-story facility will be located on 58 acres of Tejon Ranch, although an opening date has not been set yet, Nestle is aiming to complete the project in 2025 and 2026 to begin its operations.

It was not immediately known if Nestle’s current facility on District Blvd. has plans to close.
