Temple transfer Damian Dunn hears from Tennessee basketball

As the end of the college basketball season approaches, players are beginning to enter the NCAA transfer portal.

Temple guard Damian Dunn entered the portal on Monday. He will be a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility remaining due to the NCAA’s coronavirus waiver.

The 6-foot-5, 195-pound guard signed with Temple as a three-star recruit in the class of 2019. He was the No. 458 overall prospect and No. 24 player in the state of North Carolina, according to 247Sports.

ESPN’s Jeff Borzello announced Dunn has heard from Tennessee since entering the transfer portal.

Dunn was a two-time All-Conference selection for the Owls and was named to the American Athletic Conference All-Rookie Team in 2020. He averaged 14.6 points, 4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game during three seasons at Temple.
