Ten Arrested as Pro-Palestine Protesters Block Cargo Ship Owned by Israeli Company at Seattle Port

Ten people were arrested after a group of pro-Palestine protesters blocked a port entrance on Seattle’s Harbor Island, on June 17, in protest against the unloading of cargo from a ship owned by an Israeli shipping company.

This footage, by Omar Elseaidy, shows protesters marching on the island, chanting slogans, and waving Palestinian flags.

Reports said the protest, organized by the Seattle-based group Falastiniyat in conjunction with other local groups, took place in response calls from Palestinian labor unions following an escalation in the Israeli-Gaza conflict.
