Ten Russian missiles hit Zaporizhzhia - governor

Viktor, a local resident and a retired translator, said he was outraged by the unrelenting strikes.

"Every night – the same shelling and explosions which occur because of sham bandit attacks of the Russian Federation under Putin’s command. They eradicate civilians and the industry of Zaporizhzhia," said the 74-year-old, standing near a hotel-restaurant complex that had been reportedly hit a second time over the past week.

Russia, which invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24, was holding votes for a fifth and final day on Tuesday in four Ukrainian regions partly controlled by Moscow — Kherson, Luhansk, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia — on whether or not to secede to Russia.
