Tennessee baseball has its biggest series of the season thus far.

No. 9 Tennessee (20-7, 3-4) and No. 1 LSU (22-3, 5-2) square off in a three-game series in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Vols lost the opener 5-2 on Thursday in a matchup between UT ace Chase Dollander and LSU ace Paul Skenes.

Tennessee has won six straight games against the Tigers, the longest winning streak against LSU in program history. UT was swept by LSU in its most recent trip to Baton Rouge in April 2018 during Tony Vitello’s first season. It has an 8-36 mark at LSU.
