Tennessee baseball vs. Georgia: Live score updates from Lindsey Nelson Stadium

Tennessee baseball is on the verge of winning an SEC title.

The No. 1 Vols (43-6, 20-4 SEC) host No. 22 Georgia (32-16, 13-11) in a series starting Thursday (7 p.m. ET, ESPNU) at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

UT clinched the SEC East title for the second straight season Sunday after Georgia lost to Vanderbilt. The Vols would clinch the SEC with a combination of at least three UT wins or Arkansas losses in the final six games. Arkansas faces Vanderbilt in a series starting Friday.

"It would be cool, but I am serious, no one talks about it," Vols outfielder Drew Gilbert said. "It is not something that is mentioned in the locker room or meetings. It is not something we are focused on. We just take it game by game."

UT dropped a series for the first time this season last weekend at Kentucky. The Vols lost the first two games before winning the finale. Tennessee had won all SEC series prior and all 10 series this season.
