Tennessee basketball score vs. Arizona: Live updates for Vols-Wildcats

Tennessee basketball is out West.

The No. 7 Vols (9-1) face No. 9 Arizona (9-1) on Saturday (10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN2) at the McKale Memorial Center in Tucson, Arizona.

Rick Barnes said Thursday expects Jonas Aidoo and Santiago Vescovi will be available "for certain" when Tennessee basketball faces Arizona. He was not certain of Josiah-Jordan James' status.

Tennessee has the nation's top-ranked defense with an adjusted defensive efficiency of 81.2, which measures the points allowed per 100 possessions adjusted for opponents. Arizona is No. 1 nationally in adjusted offensive efficiency at 119.4, which measures points scored per 100 possessions adjusted for opponents.

Tennessee and Arizona played the opener of the home-and-home series in Knoxville on Dec. 22, 2021. The Vols edged the then-No.4 Wildcats 77-73 behind a vintage John Fulkerson hero game. Fulkerson had 24 points and 10 rebounds. He was 8-for-13 shooting and 8-for-12 from the free-throw line.

UT has a 3-1 record against Arizona in program history, including sweeping a home-and-home in the 1980s.
