Tennessee basketball score vs. Ole Miss: Live updates for Vols-Rebels

Tennessee basketball is coming off a second-place finish in the SEC and pushing for more.

The No. 10 Vols (10-2) open at Ole Miss (8-4) on Wednesday (5 p.m. ET, SEC Network). It is the third straight season that Tennessee begins conference play on the road. UT lost at Alabama last season after winning at Missouri the season before.

The Vols rolled through nonconference play, winning the Battle 4 Atlantis with three victories in three days. UT's lone losses were a 78-66 defeat against Colorado on Nov. 13 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena and a 75-70 loss on Dec. 17 at Arizona.

Ole Miss guard Matthew Murrell leads the Rebels with 15.6 points per game. The Memphis native is shooting 33.3% on 3-pointers and leads the SEC by shooting 87.2% at the free-throw line.
