Tennessee basketball has its top home nonconference game Wednesday.

The No. 19 Vols (8-2) host No. 4 Arizona (11-0) on Wednesday (7 p.m. ET, ESPN2).

Arizona has won nine of its 11 games by at least 18 points on its way to an undefeated start. The Wildcats topped Michigan 80-62 and Illinois 83-79 in two of their marquee nonconference games.

The Vols have not played since Dec. 18 against USC Upstate. Tennessee's game Saturday against Memphis in Nashville was canceled due to COVID-19 protocols within the Tigers' program.

Rick Barnes was still bothered Monday that the game was canceled and stressed Tennessee

Two Tigers — Landers Nolley II and Tyler Harris — were identified Sunday by Memphis coach Penny Hardaway as having tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday. Hardaway indicated Memphis would have had four players available to play against Tennessee due to previous injuries, redshirts and contact-tracing protocols, which wiped out unvaccinated players.
