Tennessee football lands commitment from Jourdan Thomas, three-star defensive back

Jourdan Thomas wasted no time in finding a new school.

The Montgomery (Alabama) Catholic Preparatory School defensive back announced his commitment to Tennessee football on Twitter on Saturday after he decommitted from Mississippi State on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Thomas is a three-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite. Thomas was committed to Mississippi State since April.

He is the 17th commitment to UT's 2017 class and the second defensive back.

Christian Harrison, the other defensive back commitment, committed to the Vols on Monday. Harrison is a 6-foot, 183-pound prospect from Woodward Academy in Atlanta. He also is a three-star prospect.
