Tennessee football schedules North Carolina State in 2024
Tennessee will play North Carolina State on Sept. 7, 2024 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The contest is the 2024 Duke’s Mayo Classic.
Tennessee is 2-1 all-time versus North Carolina State.
The last meeting between the two schools took place on Aug. 31, 2012. Tennessee defeated the Wolfpack, 35-21, in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Wolfpack were victorious, 16-0, in its first meeting with Tennessee on Oct. 28, 1911. Tennessee won the second meeting, 13-0, on Sept. 29, 1939. Both contests were played in Raleigh, North Carolina.
“We appreciate the Charlotte Sports Foundation and NC State on executing a game of this caliber on short notice,” Tennessee Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Danny White said in a press release. “This is another terrific opportunity for our football program and Vol Nation to showcase our brand in one of college football’s perennial marquee contests.”
