Tennessee Lady Vols' Kaiya Wynn out vs. Auburn with lower left leg injury

Freshman guard Kaiya Wynn will not play in the Tennessee Lady Vols' game at Auburn Thursday.

Wynn wore a boot in the team's morning shoot around and did not fully participate in practice. She was not dressed to play or warming up with the No. 5 Lady Vols (18-1, 7-0 SEC) ahead of their 8 p.m. ET tipoff against Auburn (8-10, 0-7).

No official update was given on Wynn's status or her timetable for return.

Wynn has played in 17 games for Tennessee this season, averaging 8.2 minutes, 2.6 points and 1.9 rebounds. In Tennessee's 112-58 win over East Tennessee State, Wynn had a breakout game and tallied her first career double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds). Wynn added five assists and two steals in 26 minutes against the Bucs.

Wynn missed another game to injury this season when she sat out Tennessee's game against Georgia State in December due to recovering from surgery to fix her broken nose.
