The new-look Pro Bowl games will be infused with a little bit of Nashville flair in 2023.

Three Tennessee Titans were selected Wednesday to participate in the 2023 Pro Bowl Games on Feb. 5 in Las Vegas. Running back Derrick Henry will be participating in his third Pro Bowl, long snapper Morgan Cox is making his fifth Pro Bowl and defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons is making his second.

Punter Ryan Stonehouse, center Ben Jones, safety Kevin Byard and special teamer Dylan Cole have been named alternates for the Pro Bowl.

The Pro Bowl Games will follow a new format than the All-Star competition took in past years. Rather than a full-contact, 11-on-11 game pitting the AFC's best against the NFC's best, this season's affair will pit players against each other in a series of skills competition and a non-contact flag football game with teams coached by former NFL quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning.

Henry ranks second in the NFL with 1,303 rushing yards and is tied for third with 12 rushing touchdowns. No player has rushed more times this season than Henry, who has become a mainstay at the Pro Bowl.

This is Henry's third Pro Bowl selection. He was previously voted onto the roster in 2019 and 2020. He joins Jurrell Casey, Chris Johnson, Brett Kern, Taylor Lewan, Steve McNair, Kyle Vanden Bosch and Delanie Walker as players who have represented the Titans in the Pro Bowl three or more times since 2000.

Simmons made his first Pro Bowl in 2021. Injuries have limited him in 2022, but he's still logged 7.5 sacks, nine tackles for loss and seven passes defensed. Simmons leads all NFL defensive tackles in passes defensed and is tied for fifth in sacks.

Stonehouse might be the Titans' most notable Pro Bowl snub. He leads the NFL in gross punting yards and yards per punt, ranks second in net punting yards and ranks fifth in net yards per punt. The rookie from Colorado State has had 28 punts downed inside the 20-yard line compared to just eight touchbacks.

Byard leads the Titans in tackles with 88 and also has two interceptions. Cole has 13 tackles on special teams this season, eight solo and five assisted.

Prior to injuries that derailed their seasons, Titans defenders like Denico Autry and David Long Jr. were putting together Pro Bowl-type seasons. Autry recorded seven sacks and 16 quarterback hits with a forced fumble in just 10 games before sustained a knee injury in November. Long made 86 tackles with seven tackles for loss, five pass breakups and two interceptions in 12 games before his injury.

Before an injury of his own, rookie running back Hassan Haskins was proving himself to be a valuable special teams player. In addition to his role as a kick returner where he averaged 21.8 yards per return, he also has logged 13 special-teams tackles in 12 games, nine of which have been solo tackles. Only three players in the NFL have more solo special teams tackles than Haskins.
