Tennessee Titans adding DB John Reid to roster off Atlanta Falcons practice squad

In one of his first moves as Tennessee Titans interim general manager, Ryan Cowden is signing defensive back John Reid off the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad.

Reid is a third-year pro who has not played in 2022. He made 12 tackles and defensed two passes in 11 games with the Seattle Seahawks in 2021 and made 13 tackles in 13 games with the Houston Texans in 2020. He was drafted by the Texans in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Penn State.

Cowden made the move just hours after he was elevated to the Titans' interim GM role in place of Jon Robinson, who was fired in the middle of his seventh season Tuesday. Cowden had previously worked as the Titans' vice president of player personnel.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero first reported the Titans' signing of Reid.
