Tennessee Titans agree to 1-year contract with wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine

The Tennessee Titans announced Thursday they've agreed to a one-year contract with wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine.

Westbrook-Ikhine has played with the Titans since 2020. He's caught 66 passes for 906 yards and seven touchdowns in his three seasons with the team, including 25 catches for 397 yards and three touchdowns in 2022. His three touchdowns led all Titans wide receivers.

Westbrook-Ikhine is now the most experienced pass catcher in the Titans' receiver room. The Titans released veteran Robert Woods in February and the only other receivers under contract for next season with playing experience are Treylon Burks and Kyle Philips, who were rookies in 2022, and rarely-used contributors Racey McMath and Mason Kinsey.

Westbrook-Ikhine was a restricted free agent for 2023 but the Titans elected not to extend him a qualifying offer Wednesday. Instead, he's back on a one-year contract.

While the Titans didn't tender Westbrook-Ikhine as a restricted free agent, they did put second-round tenders on offensive lineman Aaron Brewer and defensive tackle Teair Tart. Titans defensive lineman Naquan Jones agreed to sign his tender as an exclusive rights free agent.
