A familiar face is back in Nashville ahead of training camp.

The Tennessee Titans signed defensive back Joshua Kalu, the team announced Saturday. Kalu appeared in 28 games for the Titans from 2018-20, posting 26 tackles and playing a key role on special teams. He signed with the Giants last year but suffered a season-ending injury in the preseason.

The Titans also placed linebacker Monty Rice, tight end Tommy Hudson and place kicker Caleb Shudak on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list. Players can be moved off the PUP list, which is for football-related injuries, to the active roster any time before the start of the regular season after passing a physical.

Additionally, Tennessee waived safety Rodney Clemons.

Titans training camp begins Wednesday.
