Tennessee Titans injury report: Derrick Henry returns to practice, 7 players absent

The Tennessee Titans got a little bit healthier at practice Tuesday.

The Titans (7-8) host the Dallas Cowboys (11-4) from Nissan Stadium on Thursday (7:15 p.m., NewsChannel 5, Amazon Prime Video). After the Titans had 11 players missing from their practice walk-through on Monday, only seven were absent on Tuesday. Running back Derrick Henry headlined the players who returned, while quarterback Ryan Tannehill and defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons are the biggest names on the list of players who weren't at practice.

Henry was one of five players who appeared on the injury report as a limited participant Tuesday as he deals with a hip injury. Henry was non-committal when asked if he'll play Thursday, saying he'll do what's asked of him by the coaches. Thursday's game does not affect the Titans' playoff outlook. When put in a similar situation in 2019, the Titans opted to rest Henry in a meaningless game.
