Tennessee Titans place Dontrell Hilliard on IR, activate Lonnie Johnson among roster moves

The Tennessee Titans placed running back Dontrell Hilliard and receiver CJ Board on injured reserve and signed three players to the active roster, the team announced Saturday.

Running back Julius Chestnut, offensive lineman Jordan Roos and defensive back Davontae Harris were signed to the 53-man roster on Saturday from the practice squad.

The team also elevated defensive back Lonnie Johnson from IR and elevated wide receiver Mason Kinsey and linebacker Andre Smith from the practice squad to the gameday roster ahead of Sunday's game at the LA Chargers.

Hilliard suffered a neck injury in last Sunday's loss to the Jaguars, and Board injured his rib in the Dec. 4 loss to the Eagles. Hilliard leads the team in touchdown receptions (4) and has been the primary backup to Derrick Henry. Board had been the punt returner since being signed to the active roster last month.

Chestnut, Roos and Harris have all played in multiple games for the Titans this season.
