Tennessee Titans place Zach Cunningham on IR, activate Treylon Burks among roster moves

The Tennessee Titans placed linebacker Zach Cunningham and defensive back Josh Thompson on injured reserve and activated wide receiver Treylon Burks and defensive back Elijah Molden from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos, the team announced Saturday.

Tennessee will also elevate defensive lineman Larrell Murchison and wide receiver C.J. Board from the practice squad for Sunday's game.

Cunningham missed three games with an elbow injury suffered vs. the Raiders in Week 3, returned for the last two games but returned to the injury report with an elbow injury this week.

Burks, the Titans' first-round pick, hurt his toe in the Week 4 win over Indianapolis and was placed on IR the next week. His return is big news for a Titans receiving corps that did not catch a pass in Kansas City last Sunday.

Molden will make his 2022 season debut on Sunday if active, missing a good chunk of the preseason with a groin injury and being placed on IR before the season opener.

Jeffery Simmons (ankle), Bud Dupree (hip) and Amani Hooker (shoulder) all are ruled out for Sunday's game, while Ryan Tannehill (ankle) and Kristian Fulton (hamstring) are questionable.
