Tennessee Titans QB Ryan Tannehill named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 18
Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 18, the NFL announced Wednesday.
Tannehill completed 71.8% of his passes (23 of 32) for 287 yards and four touchdown (season high) and a 138.9 passer rating (season high) with no interceptions in the Titans' AFC-clinching victory against.the Texans. His three-touchdown first half in Sunday's win at Houston propelled Tennessee to a 21-0 lead through two quarters, and he avoided a sack in the final period to complete a 36-yard pass to receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, the highlight of the Titans' final scoring drive.

This marks Tannehill's third career offensive player of the week award, including his second with Tennessee. He also won the honor in Week 14 of 2019 with Tennessee and Week 7 of 2015 with Miami.
Tannehill becomes the fourth Titans' quarterback – joining Marcus Mariota, Steve McNair and Vince Young – to win the honor multiple times.
Tannehill finished the 2021 regular season completing 67.2% of his passes for 3,724 yards and 21 touchdowns with 14 interceptions and an 89.6 passer rating. He joined Warren Moon as the only quarterbacks in franchise history to record multiple seasons with at least 3,500 passing yards with the franchise.
