PHILADELPHIA − Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Treylon Burks was injured in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles in the process of catching his first career touchdown pass.

Burks caught a 25-yard strike over the middle from quarterback Ryan Tannehill late in the first quarter for the Titans' first points. He collided with two Eagles defenders in the process of making the catch, holding onto the ball but remaining on the ground for a couple minutes afterwards. Coaches and the athletics training staff had to help Burks up, but he was able to walk off the field on his own power.

Burks was taken to the locker room after the hit and is being evaluated for a possible concussion. He won't return to Sunday's game.

Eagles safety Marcus Epps was flagged for unnecessary roughness after the hit.
