Tennessee Titans roster moves: Da'Shawn Hand, A.J. Moore added to injured reserve

The Tennessee Titans made some roster decisions Tuesday.

Defensive end Da'Shawn Hand and safety A.J. Moore were moved to injured reserve after suffering season-ending injuries during the Titans' 21-20 loss against the New York Giants.

Hand tore his quad on Sunday and will require season-ending surgery, per Tom Pelissero, while Moore will miss the rest of the season after a serious ankle injury. Hand played just two snaps, while Moore played five special teams snaps.

Hand was signed to the Titans’ practice squad late in 2021 and appeared in one game. He returned with a futures deal in February and made the team’s 53-man roster following training camp.

Moore, a former Houston Texans safety, signed with the Titans in February on a one-year deal. He was expected to boost the Tennessee defense and help out on special teams.

The Titans now have a couple of open spots on the 53-man roster and also announced that they signed defensive back Nate Brooks to the practice squad.
