Fourth quarter

FINAL: Cowboys win, 27-13, in Nashville. Titans show some fight, and Joshua Dobbs looked better than Malik Willis. But Tennessee will take a six-game losing streak to the winner-take-all Week 18 matchup at Jacksonville.

3:44 left: Dobbs' fourth-down heave as he is hit falls incomplete. Cowboys ball.

5:06 left: Titans defense stiffens and forces a three-and-out with two incompletions.

Cowboys DB Kelvin Joseph interferes with Robert Woods as he tries to field the punt. That's 15 extra yards.

6:05 left: Joshua Dobbs intercepted. Not a good decision, as Dobbs threw it right to Cowboys DB Nahshon Wright on the sideline for the pick.

After two or three drops, the Cowboys finally have an INT of Dobbs.

Joshua Dobbs tonight: 17 of 31 for 207 yards and a touchdown with the INT.

6:24 left: Brett Maher is good from 45 yards out. Cowboys 27, Titans 13.

Dak Prescott is 28 of 38 for 281 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. CeeDee Lamb has 10 catches for 99 yards. Ezekiel Elliott has just 35 rushing yards on 16 carries and a TD.

7:37 left: Teair Tart and DeMarcus Walker combine for a sack. Tart stays on the ground, holding his right leg. Cramp? He gets up and walks off after being checked out for a few moments.

9:14 left: Prescott finds CeeDee Lamb for 34 yards over the middle.

9:50 left: Titans line up to go for it on 4th and 5, but Dennis Daley is flagged for a false start. Titans will punt now.

9:59 left: Dobbs doesn't handle a free blitzer well on third down and throws the ball away.

Sure looks like Cowboys DB Daron Bland put his body weight on Dobbs as he finished the hit. No penalty. There was an earlier play that similarly occurred on a Monty Rice hit of Prescott that was flagged for roughing the passer.

11:49 left: Treylon Burks starts the Titans' next drive with a 20-yard carry on a reverse.

FIRST TD PASS FOR JOSH DOBBS: Tennessee Titans' Joshua Dobbs throws first career TD in tight Dallas Cowboys game

Dak to Dalton Schultz for TD as Cowboys extend lead

11:58 left: Touchdown Cowboys. Dak Prescott with a strike to Dalton Schultz for a 10-yard touchdown pass in the back left corner of the end zone.

Andrew Adams, in coverage, stays down. Adams is carted off after the play.

PAT good. Cowboys 24. Titans 13.

13:13 left: Malik Davis avoids Monty Rice on a 3rd and 2 catch to pick up 5 yards. Cowboys in the red zone.

Third quarter

1:25 left: T.Y. Hilton pulls away from a Titans defender for a first down and more. 28-yard completion.

Robert Woods TD cuts into Cowboys lead

2:05 left: Touchdown Titans! Robert Woods 7-yard TD catch working over the left side. Dobbs' first career NFL TD pass.

PAT good. Cowboys 17, Titans 13.

3:17 left: Dobbs to Robert Woods for a first down into the red zone. Good timing throw.

5:13 left: Hassan Haskins with a great effort to get the first down on fourth and 2. Haskins ran over DeMarcus Lawrence to pick up three yards.

7:12 left: Treylon Burks with a nice catch into Dallas territory on a third down. Nice throw by Dobbs, too, on the run.

Costly pass interference costs Titans as Dallas pulls further ahead

8:48 left: Touchdown Cowboys. Dalton Schultz is wiiiiide open on the left side. 6-yard TD catch.

PAT good. Cowboys 17, Titans 6.

8:52 left: Tre Avery flagged for defensive pass interference on third and long. A 51-yard penalty as Avery was in coverage on Michael Gallup.

First and goal, Dallas.

11:30 left: Roger McCreary with penalty No. 3 today, a DPI against Noah Brown.

13:34 left: Treylon Burks drops a Joshua Dobbs pass on third down. Ouch.

It won't surprise you to know the Titans go three-and-out on the first drive of the second half. Ryan Stonehouse will punt.

Second quarter

Kevin Byard INT turns into late Titans points

HALFTIME: Randy Bullock is good from 30 yards out.

This is a ballgame, y'all. Cowboys 10, Titans 6.

Joshua Dobbs is 9 of 16 for 143 yards. That far exceeds anything Malik Willis has shown this year, at least through one half.

2 seconds left: Treylon Burks makes the catch and breaks away from a Cowboys defender. 30-yard catch to the Dallas 11.

Timeout Titans.

12 seconds left: Kevin Byard INT No. 2! Byard breaks on a Prescott pass and picks it off. He returns the ball back into Dallas territory.

Prescott has not been good tonight.

21 seconds left: Prescott scrambles out of bounds for a first down to the Titans' 39-yard line. Dallas has no timeouts.

48 seconds left: Dak Prescott limps after a DeMarcus Walker sack on third down. Roger McCreary wipes the sack away with a defensive holding penalty.

Titans on the board before halftime

1:08 left: Randy Bullock is good from 37 yards out. Cowboys 10, Titans 3.

Micah Parsons got the hit on Dobbs on the third down incompletion.

1:59 left: Dobbs to Robert Woods for the first down. Good YAC for Woods to push for the first down marker.

Two-minute warning. Titans at the Cowboys' 20. Dallas has left the door open with two turnovers. Dobbs is 7 of 13 for 113 yards and the lost fumble.

2:04 left: Oh boy. Dobbs nearly intercepted by Trevon Diggs. Could have been a pick-6.

3:18 left: Julius Chestnut uses some good blocks for a 33-yard catch and run on the screen.

3:33 left: Kevin Byard INT! Charge that one to Cowboys rookie TE Peyton Hendershot, who bobbled a well-placed pass from Dak Prescott. Titans take over at their 36-yard line.

3:55 left: Michael Gallup toe-tapping catch for a first down.

5:11 left: Mario Edwards TFL.

6:43 left: Titans offense go three-and-out. 10 pass attempts and three carries for Dobbs in 20 plays. Titans must find some semblance of a rushing attack without Derrick Henry.

8:03 left: Teair Tart recovers a dropped snap by Dak Prescott. Titans have the ball near midfield.

9:12 left: T.Y. Hilton first down catch.

9:48 left: On third down, Joshua Dobbs is sacked by Dante Fowler and fumbles. Dallas ball. Ouch. Missed scoring opportunity there.

11:47 left: Dobbs QB sneak gets the first down inside the Cowboys' 30.

13:53 left: Dobbs to Racey McMath for 39 yards up the hash. Wow. Excellent throw.

14:49 left: DeMarcus Lawrence knocks the ball out of Josh Dobbs' hands. Dobbs recovers the ball and throws it away.

14:56 left: Brett Maher is good from 36 yards out.

Cowboys 10, Titans 0.

First quarter

0:00 left: Quarter ends with a Jack Gibbens TFL on 3rd and 1.

1:55 left: Cowboys backup RB Malik Davis getting the work usually reserved for Tony Pollard and has a 18-yard catch and run and a 23-yard carry on this drive.

Dallas threatening again.

3:47 left: If the Titans are to do anything tonight with Josh Dobbs under center, Robert Woods and Austin Hooper must make those catches. Two drops by veterans on the drive, and the Woods drop could have been a big gain.

Instead, a three-and-out and a Titans punt.

Ezekiel Elliott TD puts Cowboys ahead early

4:36 left: Touchdown Cowboys. Ezekiel Elliott stretches the ball out across the goal line for the score. 1-yard TD run.

PAT good by Brett Maher. Cowboys 7, Titans 0.

6:32 left: Roger McCreary DPI, and Noah Brown sold it well. First down, Dallas.

7:28 left: T.Y. Hilton, an old Titans rival, makes the third down catch to move the chains inside the Titans' 30.

9:10 left: Dalton Schultz with a 13-yard catch into Tennessee territory.

10:06 left: Titans' drive is stalled. Ryan Stonehouse booms a punt, but a decent return and a Titans procedural penalty gives Dallas good field position.

The Titans starting offensive line:

  • Right tackle: Le'Raven Clark

  • Right guard: Jordan Roos

  • Center: Corey Levin

  • Left guard: Aaron Brewer

  • Left tackle: Dennis Daley

11:04 left: Treylon Burks holding penalty cancels out a Dobbs carry for a first down. Pretty obvious hold on the edge by Burks.

12:28 left: Joshua Dobbs to Chig Okonkwo for 12 yards on the Titans' first play.

12:40 left: Rashad Weaves bats down the Dak Prescott pass on third down near midfield. Cowboys punt.

14:14 left: CeeDee Lamb with a first down catch against Tre Avery. Gain of 14.

15:00 left: Titans win the toss, Cowboys receive the opening kickoff. Let's see what is in store tonight.

Derrick Henry among inactive Titans stars

Derrick Henry, listed as doubtful, is inactive alongside Jeffery Simmons, Denico Autry, Kristian Fulton and other Titans starters.

The full list of inactives can be found here. For Dallas, Tony Pollard is inactive. Micah Parsons, listed as questionable Wednesday, is active.

Joshua Dobbs will start for the Titans tonight, according to multiple reports. Malik Willis will be the backup.

The narrative around the Titans in the Mike Vrabel era is that the team plays its best when the public discounts them the most. That narrative has taken some hits in losses to Philadelphia and Buffalo, though that happens to almost every team.

The Cowboys are 13-point road favorites tonight. Can the Titans summon some underdog magic?
