Jeremy McNichols is back with the Tennessee Titans.

Three days after waiving him from the active roster, the Titans signed the running back to their practice squad, they announced Tuesday. McNichols, who has been featured extensively on third down, has 41 rushes for 156 yards and 28 receptions for 240 yards and a touchdown in 14 games this season.

A former fifth-round pick out of Boise State, McNichols was waived Saturday, a day before the Titans' regular-season finale. He cleared waivers, paving his path to return.
