The Tennessee Titans host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their second preseason game Saturday at Nissan Stadium (6 p.m. / NFL Network and WKRN in Nashville).

The matchup will conclude a long week between the teams, which had joint practices Wednesday and Thursday at Saint Thomas Sports Park. It marked the second straight year of practices between the clubs.

Coach Mike Vrabel said Thursday he hadn't made a decision on who will start at quarterback, though he acknowledged that rookie Malik Willis has been eating into Logan Woodside's reps in recent practices for development purposes.

A third-round pick, Willis started in the Titans' preseason-opening loss to the Ravens, completing 6-of-11 passes for 107 yards and rushing five times for 38 yards and a touchdown.

"We've had conversations with Logan about his opportunity to compete, but I also feel like we have to see how quickly we can bring Malik along," Vrabel said.

Tennessee Titans vs. Buccaneers score, live updates

Fourth quarter

FINAL: Titans 13, Bucs 3

10:32 left: Ryan Stonehouse drops the snap in punt formation, but outraces the Bucs' frontline for a first down. Good instincts for the UDFA punter, I guess?

11:33 left: Treylon Burks and Jalen McKenzie each called for holding on a solid run by Julius Chestnut on a third down carry. Meanwhile, Reggie Roberson has four catches for 47 yards tonight.

14:54 left: Logan Woodside is intercepted. Deep ball intended for Treylon Burks. Not the best preseason for the Titans' backup QB.

Third quarter

1:27 left in the third quarter: Treylon Burks has his first catch of the preseason, on a short route along the right sideline.

Titans 13, Bucs 3 with 2:20 left in the third: Ryan Succop is good from 52 yards out.

3:40 left in the third quarter: Ke'Shawn Vaughn has had a good quarter, carrying 8 times for 50 yards. The cart is out for former Titans offensive lineman Aaron Stinnie, who has played a lot for the Bucs tonight. Lower-body injury.

7:34 left in the third quarter: Ola Adeniyi strips Kyle Trask on third down. Trask recovers, but it's a 21-yard loss and a sack credited to Adeniyi. Logan Woodside coming into the game at QB for Tennessee.

9 minutes left in the third quarter: Kyle Trask just made an excellent throw on the move for 35 yards. Had room to step up in the pocket.

10:41 left in the third quarter: Ke'Shawn Vaughn in the game for Tampa Bay, trying to battle for a reserve running back role. The former Vandy star bursts through the middle for 17 yards.

12:50 left in the third quarter: Ryan Stonehouse punts the ball out the back of the end zone. The UDFA punter has a big-time leg. Note on the previous drive: Mason Kinsey had a drop, and Malik Willis scrambled himself into a sack instead of throwing the ball away on third down.

Start of quarter: Malik Willis remains in the game to start the third quarter.

Second quarter

26 seconds left in the first half: Malik Willis cashes in on the turnover, doing well inside the pocket to find Chig Okwonkwo for a 6-yard touchdown pass. Some juice on that throw, too. Titans lead 13-0.

1:44 left in the first half: A non-Titans tweet: Kyle Trask has not improved through two preseasons with the Bucs. Still lacks NFL-level poise and pocket presence for a QB.

On cue, Trask throws an interception under pressure.

4:14 left in the first half: Randy Bullock is good from 49 yards. Titans lead 6-0. Tennessee's offensive line, including potential starters Dillon Radunz and Nicholas Petit-Frere, has struggled in pass protection.

5:11 left in the first half: Recent addition Lonnie Johnson forces a fumble that is recovered by Rashad Weaver. Johnson has made a couple good plays in the first half.

5:58 left in the first half: Willis has to throw the ball away while scrambling on third down. Randy Bullock's 32-yard field goal is good. Points! Titans lead 3-0.

8:38 left in the first half: Malik Willis scrambles for 26 yards. Looked very comfortable in the pocket against the blitz, and made a smooth run down the right sideline.

9:22 left in the first half: That's at least two run-option carries for Malik Willis tonight. He has four total carries so far.

12:26 left in the first half: There's the Malik Willis sidearm throw again. He finds Dez Fitzpatrick for a first down reception.

13:45 left in the first half: Caleb Farley playing in the second quarter and just made a good play on the ball to force a third-down incompletion.

14:49 left in the first half: Malik Willis throws a ball off target for an open Chig Okwonkwo on 4th down. Neither team's reserve QBs are comfortable just yet.

First quarter

2:27 left in the first quarter: Kyle Philips has a future at punt returner. 35-yard return, his second good return of the quarter. (And then he was called for a false start on the next play.)

4:02 left in the first quarter: Titans first-team offensive line started the game, but the OL are rotating through after three possessions. Taylor Lewan sat out that drive and is likely done for the day.

5:28 left in the first quarter: Second-year edge rusher Rashad Weaver earns a sack. Titans defense started the game with a mix of starters, including Bud Dupree and Kristian Fulton, and backups.

7:36 left in the first quarter: Titans defense gets a stop on fourth down against Bucs QB Blaine Gabbert but go three-and-out as Willis is sacked on second down. Still scoreless.

11:06 left in the first quarter: Malik Willis starts the first drive of his second NFL preseason game with a good throw to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and finishes it with a 4-yard loss on a run on fourth down. Good and not-so-good from the rookie.
