Tennessee's Jessie Rennie suffers offseason injury, had knee surgery with no timetable to return

Tennessee Lady Vols basketball announced an offseason injury to Jessie Rennie.

The senior suffered a right knee injury in an offseason workout and Rennie underwent surgery on Tuesday. The 5-foot-8 guard from Australia has started rehab and there is no timetable for her return.

Rennie has played in 65 games for Tennessee and averaged 4.9 minutes in 21 appearances last season.

Rennie is one of 10 returning Lady Vols, who will be joined by six newcomers. Tennessee coach Kellie Harper secured four transfers (Jasmine Powell, Rickea Jackson, Jasmine Franklin and Jillian Hollingshead) and has two incoming freshmen (five-star wing Justine Pissott and walk-on Edie Darby).
