Tennova recognized with national award in wound healing excellence
The Wound Care Clinic at Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville has once again been recognized with the Healogics Center of Distinction award for continued excellence in wound healing. George Valentini, MD, Medical Director of The Wound Care Clinic, was awarded Healogic’s President’s Circle Award for achieving outstanding clinical outcomes for twelve consecutive months.
Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville’s Wound Care Clinic has achieved patient satisfaction rates higher than 92 percent, and a comprehensive heal rate of greater than 75%, along with several other quality standards. The Center was recognized by Healogics, the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services. Dr. Valentini was one of only five physicians to be awarded the President’s Circle Award out of 600 centers nationally.
