Terre Haute police investigate serious accident on Wabash Avenue

Nov. 2—The Terre Haute Police Department is investigating a "serious bodily injury accident" that took place in the 1200 block of Wabash Avenue, according to a THPD Facebook post this afternoon.

"Wabash Avenue is currently closed from 11th Street to 13th Street while crash reconstructionists process the scene," the post stated.

The closure remained in place at 4:40 p.m.

"We ask that citizens avoid this area and find an alternate route to prevent traffic congestion. We will have an update to this active investigation at a later time."
