Saturday the event will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday it will be from 2 to 6 p.m.

The event will include 40 vendors selling comic related items and comic books, as well as two food trucks. The library is hosting a costume contest, comic book swapping and an anime-styled dance group.

"We have buttons that we made, and it has Superman and Batman on it," she said. "All the vendors, since we are nonprofit, they come in, and we don't charge them space to do it. They get to keep all their profits."

The costume contest will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, and winners will be announced at 4:30 p.m. The winner of the contest will receive a trophy.

There will be artists, cosplayers and costume makers teaching their craft from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
