Terrorists "sentence" to death 3 foreigners who defended Ukraine

Terrorists of the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast have "sentenced" to death three foreign fighters who defended Ukraine.

Details: The so-called "Supreme Court of the DPR" [self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic] has served the first sentence to foreign fighters who fought on the side of Ukraine, whom they call "mercenaries."

These are the British Aiden Eislin and Sean Pinner, and the Moroccan Saadun Brahim.

They have been sentenced by terrorists to death.

The occupiers have given the foreign defenders of Ukraine a month to appeal against the "decision" of the so-called court.

The fighters were found guilty of "committing acts aimed at seizing power and overthrowing the constitutional order of the DPR [self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic]".

Earlier: Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council, said that the Geneva Convention does not apply to foreigners who protect Ukraine from Russian invaders.

According to him, they should be "denazified first".

The Ukrainian General Staff reported that all foreign fighters defending Ukraine are combatants (members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and directly involved in hostilities – ed.) and have the respective rights. This means that they are protected by the Geneva Convention.

According to international law, this is abduction, the foreigners are captives there, and the "court" has no legal force.

The killing of prisoners of war is considered a war crime and has no term of limitations.

Reference: Brahim Saadun – 25.08.2000, citizen of Morocco. He served in the 36th Marine Brigade under contract. He went on exercises in November, and from the beginning of February he took part in active hostilities.

Aiden Eislin and Sean Pinner also served in the units of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Mariupol. They were captured in April.
