Each bridge opening is expected to last approximately 12 minutes. Drivers should expect delays during these times.

According to MassDOT, the test openings are necessary to perform operational and maintenance testing of the bridge system components to ensure the continued safe operation of the drawbridge.

The schedule for this work is weather and emergency dependent and subject to change without notice.
