The Houston Texans got to see more from their other third-round rookie Sunday in the 31-3 loss to the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium in Week 6.

Third-round receiver Nico Collins returned to the lineup for the first time since Week 2 when he was placed on injured reserve. Collins caught four passes for 44 yards against the Colts, the second-leading receiver in catches and yards behind Brandin Cooks’ nine catches for 89 yards.

“Very happy with Nico coming back,” coach David Culley said. “He gave us a little spark there, made some plays. We were a little concerned because the last time he got hit in a game was the last game he had played. He came in and did a nice job for us. Very glad to have him back.”

Rookie quarterback Davis Mills, also taken in the third round, was pleased to see his draft mate come back and contribute in the passing game.

“He’s great,” said Mills. “A lot of talent out there on the field. Just another threat we have out there on offense to go and make plays.”

The loss dropped Houston to 1-5 on the season. Houston stays on the road as they go to the Phoenix area next week for a Sunday afternoon showdown against the Arizona Cardinals.
