Austin-based Kendra Scott is set to open its first Williamson County store this week.

The fashion and fine jewelry brand will set up shop in a 2,850-square-foot space at 1556 West McEwen Drive in Franklin.

The company's namesake, Scott, started the business in 2002 from a spare bedroom in her home, according to a company press release. It has since grown to include several U.S. and overseas locations.

The brand is known for its watches, engagement rings, home accessories and a wide variety of fashion pieces. Musicians like Kelly Clarkson and actors like Zendaya have been known to wear Scott's custom creations.

The Franklin store will display Scott’s current collection. It will also offer complimentary engraving for her demi-fine collection, a news release said.

In honor of the Franklin grand opening, Scott plans to host six “Kendra Gives Back” events, which will see sales proceeds donated to Middle Tennessee charities, including Sapphire Suite, Faithfully Restored Women, FrankTown Open Hearts, Summit Dance Marathon, Modern Vintage News and Ravenwood Girls Cotillion.

Scott has donated more than $60 million since 2010 to various non-profits and local businesses through such initiatives, a release said.

The Williamson County location is set to open on Dec. 1. Planned hours are 10 a.m. -7 p.m. Monday- Saturday and noon-6 p.m. on Sunday.
