Michelle Herman, wife of Texas head coach Tom Herman, had a special T-shirt ready for the Longhorns’ game against Iowa State on Saturday. Let’s just say not everyone will be a fan.

Herman sported a shirt emblazoned with the words “Ok, Cool. Hook ‘Em -T,” a reference to her husband’s comically curt reply to an unhinged text-message rant from former colleague Zach Smith.

The story of ‘Ok, Cool. Hook ‘Em – T’

Smith, who was fired from Ohio State and sent the program into chaos when his domestic violence allegations came to light, tweeted a screen capture of the message on Monday while accusing Tom Herman of infidelity and calling the coach a “snitch.”

Herman’s name was dragged into the Buckeyes’ scandal due to his past as the offensive coordinator in Columbus. The school claimed Herman accompanied Smith on a trip to a Florida strip club and Herman has been accused of maliciously leaking the dark details of Smith’s personal life.

All of that and more led to Smith’s bizarre tirade on Monday.

(WARNING: the conversation contains some breathtakingly coarse language.)

Natalia Vaughns, the mother of Texas linebacker Byron Vaughns, took Herman’s reply and turned into one incredible T-shirt available for sale on her online store Mutha Hustla.

The cherry on top with the T-shirt: A portion of the proceeds for the shirt will go to Texas domestic violence shelter Women Called Moses.

Clearly, the Herman family approves of Vaughns’ response.
