A Texas Longhorns football quarterback suffered an apparent shoulder injury in the first quarter of a game against Alabama once again.

Quinn Ewers left Saturday's game with 31 seconds left in the first quarter after jamming his left shoulder into the turf after being hit by Alabama's Dallas Turner on a 1st-and-goal play. He will not return to Saturday's game, ESPN reported at the start of the second half.

Ewers left his feet to throw away a pass, and Turner made the hit as Ewers threw the ball. Turner was flagged for roughing the passer on the play.
