Texas Gov. Abbott says 14 students, 1 teacher killed in school shooting
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said 14 students and one teacher were killed in a shooting at Robb Elementary School.

GREG ABBOTT: The shooter was Salvador Romas, an 18-year-old male who resided in Uvalde. It's believed that he abandoned his vehicle and entered into the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde with a handgun and he may have also had a rifle, but that is not yet confirmed according to my most recent report.
He shot and killed, horrifically, incomprehensively, 14 students, and killed a teacher. Mr. Romas, the shooter, he is-- he-- he himself is deceased. And it's believed that responding officers killed him.
