Texas High School Basketball: Area athletes earn TABC All-State honors
Six Corpus Christi-area athletes were named to the Texas High School Basketball Coaches Association all-state team released Thursday.
In Class 3A boys, London twins Preston and Pierson Cazalas were chosen alongside Santa Gertrudis Academy senior Kayden McClure.
Port Aransas senior and District 31-2A MVP Kristopher Jones was selected in Class 2A.
All three athletes helped their teams advance to the Region IV tournament in their respective classifications.
On the girls side, Aransas Pass' Jocelyn Cole was chosen in Class 3A after leading the Panthers to the regional tournament.
Skidmore-Tynan's Maggy Moreman was selected in Class 2A after leading the Lady Cats to the District 31-2A title.
