The Texas Rangers are receiving a key to the city of Fort Worth. Here’s how fans can attend.

The City of Fort Worth will hold a special event to honor the World Champion Texas Rangers on Thursday.

The city will hold the event at Billy Bob’s, which is located at 2520 Rodeo Plaza. The celebration will begin at 12:30 with a musical performance from the Squeezebox Bandits.

There will be a presentation ceremony where members of the Texas Rangers will be given the key to the city and share the stage with Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker. The Rangers will bring the World Series trophy to the event.

Billy Bob’s doors will open at 11 a.m., the event is free to the public and parking is $10. The event will be live-streamed on Fort Worth Television for fans who can’t attend in person.

Mayor Parker expressed excitement for the ceremony in a statement.

“This is a momentous occasion for Fort Worth, North Texas and all Texas Rangers fans. We are thrilled to host this event at Billy Bob’s in the iconic Fort Worth Stockyards and celebrate the team’s remarkable achievement.” said Parker, “It’s an honor for our city to be a part of Texas Rangers history.”
